Dr. Deepa Bhajekar!
Dr. Deepa's journey with Purifry™ started in 2019, but her story goes way back in time. She's not your typical founder. Before Purifry™, she rocked the foodtech world with 'd technology,' where she is turning science fiction into science fact, teaming up with global giants to make innovative, real-world tech solutions.
But that's not all! She kicked off her entrepreneurial journey and started a food testing lab in the 2000 –
with just Rs. 20,000 as her startup capital and a borrowed table and chair from her home. Fast forward 15
years, and she had a team of 250 people with operations in 18 cities of India, and the world's largest food
testing laboratory, Silliker, as her Joint Venture partner, while providing services to India’s largest food
and beverage companies.
She was also a key member on the Scientific panel and Central Advisory Committee (CAC) of the FSSAI
Oh, and did we mention that she's a three-time award winner? From being the youngest PhD at Mumbai University
at the age of 24, to getting recognized as a 'Distinguished Alumni' at Institute of Chemical Technology
(esrtwhile known as UDCT), her career has been unstoppable. And she even studied at Harvard Business School!
Dr Deepa is not just a Tech Wizard and Scientist , she is also a motivational speaker inspiring us all to
chase our dreams.
